Bienvenue to Singapore, Siti Norhakim ; Day 2&3

Day 2, 12th December 2009

• Mom drove me and hadi to a restaurant near Masjid sultan to meet them.
• Took a bus to the National Museum
• After that, went to Suntec
• Ate kfc
• then took the MRT to Harbourfront, bought the tickets @ VivoCity and left for Sentosa via the Sentosa Express.
• Jumped on the Skyride & Sentosa Luge ! hurtled down the winding downhill track through the trees and raced through the bends with the others !

• They treat us to New Zealand Natural Ice-Cream uh ! Nine bucks !
• Following that, watched 'Songs of the Sea' which was quite entertaining .. plus someone drank from my bottle ! Sengaja, kan ~!
• Next on the list was Mustafa Centre .. After which we missed the last bus and train for the day .. and also had trouble getting a cab back to the hotel cause' most of them were hired :@

Today, 13th December '09

• Had breakfast @ Ang Mo Kio
• Zoo
• Had lunch @ Food Culture, CCK .
• Took a ride in the LRT and showed them our neighbourhood, school ..
• Next, took 960 from Pending to Marina Square .
• Singapore Flyer .. but damn, cost them $29.50 ea and thanks for the tickets and photos AGAIN ..
• Trained to Geylang Serai; walked around and had dinner together.
• Bugis Street ! :D
  

Bienvenue to Singapore, Siti Norhakim :D

Okay, today me and Hadi met Siti Norhakim and her family @ the Airport ! Eventhough we're close, we've never really talked to each other in person before uh, so it was kind of a nerve wrecking moment for us when we first saw her. Then when she arrived, greeted her with a simple "Hi." and a smile suffices.

I know you guys might be wondering why it's just the 2 of us .. but nevertheless the act of pickin' someone up and seeing someone off is like a natural etiquette . Even when you visit relatives or friends at their home, they will see you off to the door when you leave,right ? Pretty much the same concept here and it's considered a bit rude if you don't.

Anyway, here's the list of things that we did today :
(all the stuffs done here are like totally impromptu man .. period)

• Cabbed from Pending till Changi Airport @.@
• Met them there then cabbed to their hotel
• Went to Masjid Sultan for friday prayers
• Ate lunch at Arab Street(her family paid for our meal eventhough we insisted otherwise ! but Thank you very much ;D )
• Took the MRT from Bugis to Jurong; Science Centre
  (Sadly Snow City was closed cause' of some event).
• Train-ed back to Bugis
• Ate dinner at Bugis Junction
• Walked all the way to Sim Lim Square
• Finally, back to their hotel.
  
  Tomorrow gotta wake up early ! Gonna meet them at 9am .
  National Museum followed by Sentosa !

p.s And don't worry uh, you ain't troubling us ! both of us felt obliged to guide you around lah :D

AHH OKAY . Theophila :B forced to me update .. So well, yeah . Here goes !

These few days my schedule has been really hectic :/ Got a job at Klapsons, the boutique hotel (www.klapsons.com) as a waiter/butler and so on .. the pay and job is alright since it's in a 5-star hotel with a lively yet relaxed ambience(okay i don't what i'm talking about :d) .. but there's a few of the staff .. really get on your nerves man, and they'll test you beyond your limit .

Okay enough about that ..
As for the Class chalet last tuesday-thursday .. uhhh, I guess it was alright . And yeah, someone said that they were gonna attend the Chalet but last minute *ahem* :D

First day - upon reachin' the chalet .. slacked awhile then barbequed .. didn't really get to eat the chicken .. cause everyone wanted one and mine was always half cooked . Thanks to Afiq and Fatt R. for marinating the chickens ! and E E R A H for marinating the squid .. as well as her mom for cookin' the mee goreng ..

After that .. around 18 of us went for night cycling (with the bikes we rented fr 20 bucks but till 10am the next morning :/) first off .. a took a detour around pasir ris then finally we're en route to Changi Village !
Reached there, ordered some drinks .. and saw a few shemales .. few of us kept joking that if we were girls, we'd sure be ashamed lookin' at how those men can have that kinda figure and nice legs (daisy dukes, makes a men go *whistle*). Okay, after that cycled to OCH (Old Changi Hospital') for obvious reasons .. We went against the 'taboos' by going in odd numbers when we shouldn't and especially when it's during a full moon .. walked up together with the aid of flashlights from our phones .. Kept losing our way when we were trying to find the mortuary ..

Here's the thing .. after we got out, walked to our bikes and got caught by the police -_- apparently, they said that we were trespassing and the fact that we stayed out late way beyond the curfew time (cause it was like 2/3am at that particular time) yada yada .. took down our particulars .
Oh yeah, Yun dian and Jun wei injured themselves while ridin' the bikes .. and so when we got back .. we make up a story and told those who didn't tag along with us for the night cycle that all 11 of us got into a fight .. and those 2 got injured .. AND THEY BOUGHT THE STORY :P had a good laugh bout that .

Second day !
woke up in the mornin' Had breakfast @ Mc'Donalds then went back to bed till around 1/2pm . Since we had nothing to do .. Me, GZ, Ryan, Fatt and Eric went to catch anything we could during the low tide .. It was fun man ! and we caught 2 stone fish, around 7/8 lobsters .. a few crabs; one of them was as big as the 2 fish uh . That day .. lotsa ppl went home including the scouts cause they were goin' to HK the next day .

Third day - Well nothing much lah . We practically did nothing .. then went home .

The Hangover .

So, on national day, went to watch fireworks and stuffs, but yesterday, caught 'The Hangover' ! We were planning to watch G.I Joe but the movie has already started and the interval till the next show is too long to wait uh .
But yeah, the Hangover was GREAT ! Okay, most of you wouldn't want to catch it cause' of the obscene stuffs . I mean, like literally .. ALOT of OBSCENE content (but i enjoyed the show ;D ) ! BUT DO CATCH IT UH !
